” B.F.F. To ’ Have We Met? ’ ” - S. Ioane

This photo was taken @ Blacktown’s Playtime Photobooth. I can’t rememember the exact date of when it was taken but i’m guessing it was a few months back. In the photos are my 2 old best friend Nino Flores Reyes & Matthew John Hyde (& myself of course). I can’t really remember that day but one thing I do know was that we were happy. I remember the day before this photo was taken they both slept over my house. Now these pictures may be your average photobooth photos but not to me. Why you ask? Well because these 2 were 2 of my best friends, & now, they are mere strangers.
It amazes me how some of the closest people in our lives, the ones we think will stick around forever, the ones we open up to & share our deepest, darkest secrets to can just vanish withing the click of a finger.
The guy in the red (Matt) was literally my brother. Literally. I’d see him practically everyday, whether if it was @ my house, the shops, his house or wherever & then on the weekends he would sleep over mine, watch my netball games on Saturdays & then i’d watch his footy games on Sundays & so the cycle would repeat.
The guy with the glasses (Nino) I would only see once a month but we’d make those days 100% unforgettable. I lived with him @ a stage but that’s a complete different story.
All of us would talk to each other every chance we got. On the phone, the internet & so forth. I don’t regret a single thing with either one of them cause I will tell you for a fact that my days with them were the best. Thinking about it now, I miss it.
What made us strangers was one day with Matt (cut the long story short) there was a dispute with another girl & then things just went wrong & we said terrible stuff to eachother & right then & there we knew our friendship was over.
With Nino, we just faded. The talking stopped, the seeing eachother came to a hold, just everything was gone. It was soo stupid & silly the way we all “broke up”.
These pictures may be your average photobooth photos, but not to me & I hope you can now see why. They represent the 2 most important people I had in my life, my 2 B.F.F.’s, what I use to have. But now, when I look @ these photos, all I can think of is, “Have we met?”. It’s sad, I know.
Please, if you have a best friend or best friends out there make the most of each & every second you have together because I know personally from experience that best friends are not just found anywhere, they’re diamonds in the rough, & once they’re gone, all you can do is sit & wonder, “What happened?”.

When we stay home & are bored with nothing to do..
Even when we get in the club..

We always muck around & tease eachother..

When we fight & makeup..

When we make love..

We got eachother’s back like..

& in the end, we always come back to eachother in the end like..
